Where to find your bonus Road Trip Challenges rewards for week 3 and week 4

If you’re keeping up with Fortnite Season 5 then you should be on week three of the Fortnite Battle Pass Challenges and the Road Trip challenges to complete everythinga week has to offer.

Which means you’ll wondering about the Fortnite Road Trip week 3 challenge Battle Stars location. It’s a tricksey one this week involving a hidden map reference on the loading screen you unlock, and a little looking around if you don’t know where you’re going. Fortunately, we know exactly where to go and we’re going to show you right now.

Remember, the hidden Battle Stars only appear if you’ve completed all the challenges and unlocked the loading screen. So don’t think you can just head to the location and pick them up without earning them.

Fortnite Road Trip Challenges rewards

If you manage to complete all of the Battle Pass Challenges in seven different weeks, and therefore all seven Road Trip Challenges, you’ll receive a sweet new character skin – but exactly what it is hasn’t been revealed yet. All we know about this Mystery Item so far is that it’s a legendary skin, and from the outline it looks like it could be a figure shrouded in a hood. You’ll probably get a fancy new back bling to match with it as well, but unfortunately we’ll have to wait until at least Week 7 of Season 5 to see who this new character is, unless someone manages to data mine it before then.

Fortnite road trip challenges week 4

I know, I know, it’s not Road Trip challenge week 4 yet, but that hasn’t stopped people poking through the files and pulling out the loading screen. Like week 3 this is a clue more than a literal location, and if we zoom in on the ringed area we can see this:

If only there was a place where you could find a camel having a drink in Fortnite. Wait there is, near where the road enters Pleasant Palms at G9 on the map.

Jump and aim for that area and you’ll see the camel near the gas station as you glide in:

We’ll have to wait for the actual Road Trip week 4 to go live before we find out exactly where the Battle Stars appear, but on the camel is a strong possibility from the clue. There is also a patch of dirt behind the creatures that has a very Battle Star-y feel about it.

Track Record

The week 3 Fortnite Road Trip challenge loading screen is a little different as it doesn’t contain a literal pointer to the location of the Battle Stars. Instead you’ll have to get your clue from the number plate on the ATK. It reads “J2 – SW” which means the south west of map grid J2. Or here:

It’s actually a tiny bit of the map but to save you running around you’ll want to glide into the house with all the building on it and a yellow coach next to it.

When you land you’ll find the stars on the usual patch of brown dirt: collect and be happy.

Fairway Fun

After completing Road Trip Challenges for two different weeks you’ll receive this loading screen, showing the group having fun on Fortnite ATK vehicles. Given the activities taking place it’s not hard to establish this next location is the Lazy Links golf course itself, so make your way there.

When you arrive in Lazy Links, you need to get onto the roof of the clubhouse building to the north of the main complex. Head to the top of the highest roof peak and the Road Trip Battle Stars will appear for collection.

Fortnite Road Trip Challenges hidden stars location – 1 Week

Road Trip

Complete the Road Trip Challenge for one week and you’ll get this loading screen. Within it you’ll find a not very subtle hint to the Road Trip Battle Star location in the form of a literal map. That directs you to the small excavation or quarry area shaped like an umbrella just to the west of what is now Lazy Links.

Head out to the area marked on the map and you’ll find the Road Trip Battle Stars on this ledge to the side. REMEMBER: the stars will only appear if you’ve completed the first Road Trip Challenge, so don’t go getting any ideas about popping over there to see if you can steal them without earning them.
